Mom I Love You!!!

Happy Mother's Day to the most wonderful,
loving, giving, understanding, beautiful inside and out,
BEST GRANDMA, fun, great advice, good listener
etc... the list goes on and on of the great
qualities my mom has!

She gives of her time to each of her daughters!
It has been such a great blessing of having my
mom as my neighbor for 20 years!!

For our Mother's Day celebration we met at Kathy's
home for some long overdue pictures with our mom!
Then we headed to Texas Roadhouse for a yummy
dinner! Last, SHOPPING is always a fun way to end
a very special day!!

My mom, sisters.. Kathy, Debbie,Kristi also my great
sister-in-laws Sandra and Stephanie all live within a few
miles of each other. We get together quite a bit and it
has been a lot of fun.

We just received some pictures from Heath.
He is having some wonderful experiences in
Argentina. We love our boys and are
so thankful for their great examples. They have
been on their missions for ONE year now.
We will hear from our boys in 9 days on
Mother's Day. I can't wait to be talking
to my missionaries!! YIPPEE!!!!

It was a great Month of March! Grant had
mentioned on one of his emails that he was
sending us a package. Our first one! We were
anxious to get it. He had told us that he would
send us some Latvian chocolate, a book of Riga,
and a CD with 300 pictures! When we got the
package it was just like Christmas! It was
a wonderful day. I couldn't take the smile
off my face. Here are are some of our favorite
pictures!

Lori and Trevor had an appointment
with their doctor and an ultrasound.
We were so anxious to hear and were waiting
by the phone. Then, we get a text from

Trevor and he say's ," IT'S A BOY"!! We
have been so excited! It is great fun to email
Grant and Heath on their missions and
share the news with them about
a new little nephew coming in August.

Going for a walk with Grandma

We love camping with Trevor, Lori and Kelsie!

We had the best time camping with
Trevor, Lori, and Kelsie during Spring break!
It was a well deserved vacation for all of us.
The campsite was beautiful and we had
some chilly nights and some rainy days.
David, Trevor, and Lori went on a hike and
I got to stay with Kelsie! She is such a sweetie
and she loves wanting to get down and walk, walk
and walk some more. She is growing so fast and
keeps us on our toes! I love being a Grandma!
David cooked some yummy Chicken and Rice in
the dutch oven and biscuits. We also enjoyed
SMORES for dessert! As you can see we eat
pretty well! We eat much better camping then
at home and that's the truth!

Loveable LACEY the Teacher!!

What a FUN time I had having Lacey, my sweet
niece come and help me with my Preschool class.
She did an awesome job with circle time and had fun
reading 2 books to the children. She kept their
attention very good. I think she would
definitely be a great teacher when she gets older!
I was so proud of her! Thank you Lacey for
helping me! I can't wait to have you help me
again!

My room is looking good!!

I have seen a lot of changes in my Preschool
room from the very beginning of my first classes.
I had asked David, my wonderful talented
husband if he could build me some BIG
bookshelves for my Preschool room. He said I sure can!
He drew up some plans, we headed to LOWES
and in 2 days I had some beautiful bookshelves! Not
only does it hold all of my books, it also holds lots of
puzzles and games! Thank you sweetie for all you
do for me!!
This has been a dream come true for me!
I love being with these sweet children! They are
learning so fast and they are so much fun to be with!
