KELSIE IS WALKING!!











David and I went to Trevor and Lori's
home last night. We were so excited to
see our granddaughter walking and showing
off for us. WOW! did she ever it was so
much fun to see her getting up in the middle
of the floor and walk to me with the biggest
smile on her face. My camera was not working
very well so I will post on my blog what I have
now and I will take more later. I guess I am just
a very proud Grandma!!

Road to Recovery!


Lindsay came to me about a month ago
and asked me to feel the bottom of her foot.
She had some pain when she put any
pressure on it and felt a bump on the
arch of her right foot.
I felt it and knew that it didn't feel right.
I looked at it and told her that we needed to make an
appointment with a Podiatrist.
The next week Lindsay was getting an MRI
and the Dr. gave her a date for surgery
January 15th. She recovered well from the surgery
and now she is learning how to use CRUTCHES.
Quite a big adjustment, she will be on these things for
3 looong weeks Well, 1 week down and 2 weeks to go.
Lindsay is back to work at Power Ranch Elementary and
she said that many of the children are helping
her by opening doors and carry her bags. What
sweeties!! Lindsay will be getting the stitches out
February 2! YIPPE! and then NO MORE CRUTCHES!

It is always a great joy to hear from our son's!
We always hear from them first thing in the
morning! So, needless to say my days are
Great!! Most of the time I can't sleep very well
the night before. I am so excited to read their
emails so I am up and down waiting to hear from them.

and Heath will say following their emails PICTURES
INCLUDED!! I can't open the attachments fast enough.
We love their pictures and love their SMILES!!
It makes a mom very happy!

Now it is time for 2009!






















This is the 2nd year that we have
celebrated New Years at our home.
Everyone brings a dessert or a finger food
to snack on. What a wild night of eating,
playing games, and lots of laughing and
enjoying each other's company. How the
time flies and then it is time to put on our hats
and blow the noise makers that Grandma always
brings for us. Then we get the Martinelli's
ready to drink. Then the count down begins...

San Francisco Here we come!

David and I had bought 2 tickets last year
from my sister Kathy who works for U.S Air
We could fly anywhere that
U.S Air fly's and we had a year to use
the tickets. Well, with only 3 days left
to go we decided to fly to San Francisco.
What a good choice we made.
There was never a dull moment we
were busy from sun up to sun down.
The weather was beautiful and we rode
on Trolley's, electric buses, the Bart,
and a double Decker bus. We also cruised
under the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
We did a lot of walking and ate at some
yummy restaurants. It was a lot of fun
spending time together. We are talking
and making plans for our next vacation.

Merry Christmas to my little Reindeers!







It has been a busy month of decorations,
practicing our songs, and lots of
excitement as we have been preparing and
waiting for our Preschool Christmas program.
It is finally here!
On Wednesday and Thursday we
had fun singing, eating and opening gifts.
I have so much fun being with these
wonderful children! They have really
brightened up my Holidays. I hope
they have a Merry Christmas. I will
be happy to see them the first of the year.
